understanding market prices

I was just looking up local cattle, sheep and goat prices and I'm not getting it. After each price it reads, "cwt." What does that mean?

For example:

Lambs, new crop/cwt. from:150.00 to:217.00 high:235.00
Lighter, well finished lambs traded $5-7 cwt. higher.
