We lost our 18 week old Dominique last night with no clue as to how. All 5 were safe in the coop/run no preditors, they all got along great. There was a little blood near her mouth and her neck seemed to be in an odd angle... Could she have fallen and twisted it? Could an eaten spider cause this? Should I be worried about our other 4 chickens?

Our chickens are our pets so we are shaken. :( [IMG]

Yes... sorry... bad luck really... She fell or was pushed from the roost and hit her head on the corner of the bricks the water feeder sits on... we found the blood on it... :( we lowered the roosts...
