Unpeeled garlic?

    Hey, all. I know it's probably a dumb question, but can you leave the peel (last layer) on the garlic when crushing or cutting it up to feed to chickens? That last layer is a pain in the butt to get off.

    I do, they do not seem to mind. I just chop it up into bite sized chunks and feed, no peeling required.
