Hi and welcome to BYC from northern Michigan :D

you will likely have to wait until your chicks are a little older before you can determine breeds. Post your pictures in the What Breed or Gender section of the Forum for best results.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to our flock. X2 on 1muttsfan; your chicks are too young to determine their breeds with any certainty. I would post their pics again on our What Breed or Gender is This? section at https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/15/what-breed-or-gender-is-this in about 5-6 weeks and let our experts there take a look at them. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your pullets.

Wishing you the very best of luck with them, I hope they bring you lts of happiness. Raising chicks is such a rewarding experience as you watch them grow and develop.

Hello there and welcome to BYC! [IMG]

Cute babies!! I would wait a bit till they mature and you can tell the breed and sex a bit easier.

Enjoy these cute pies and welcome to our flock!

Thank you all for the warm welcomes! :) I'll definitely take the advice to post on that thread at a later time when they're easier to identify. I'm a long time chicken admirer and first time owner.... It's so easy to get completely obsessed with chickens, I could watch them for hours..... Lol oh boy What have I gotten myself into!
