Untamed Tiel Excersize

I have an untamed cockatiel I adopted 2 months ago. He is scared of hands, moving people, everything. He sits in one spot on one pech all day. I want to let him out to fly. I am not worried about him not going back in, but what if he flies into a wall??

Hi, I always sit next to him singing, talking, reading.
He will take millet through the cage bars but only if he is on his food bowl.

Just treat him like a wild bird. He’s afraid of people. Put some millet on a popsicle stick, hold it by the open door, and see if he comes for it.
