Does this count? My friend’s cat is BFFs with toilet paper rolls...

He wouldn’t let anyone touch them, if they rip he takes them to a corner and tries to “heal” it.
Also, personally I think animal’s weirdest friends are humans. Who ever thought of people as friends?! Like, thats just WEIRD.

There is this blue heron that has visited my area every summer for years. We call the heron "Tall Duck". Each year, it seems Tall Duck gets closer with my ducks & goose, although my goose doesn't trust Tall Duck very much. Here's a few photos of them all over the years:
