Up close pics of bantam silikes. Males or females?

My silkies are about 9 or 10 weeks now. I have 5. I think my buff and black which are the first set are females and starting with the white one to the last are males. What do you guys think? I tried to get multiple shots up close to make it easier to tell.

Honestly they are still too young to be certain. Silkies in general are hard to sex at this age unless you have an obvious cockerel. The only one I can say with any conviction is your second bird, the black one in the 3rd and 4th photos. This one is male. This does not mean the others are all female, though they could be, just means they need more time. I would repost when they are around 4 months old or 16 weeks, if you are still uncertain at that time. 😊

The 3rd, 4th,and 5th pics are all the same chicken. The feathering on the head is all uniform and I dont see any noticable streamers. Or are you talking about the 3rd chicken which would be the white one?

It is the comb at this age. Too early for streamers.

Sorry! The photos are not real clear, some light issues. But the comb looks large and starting to become the mulberry (purple) color that males get at this age. Post another photo of this bird , clear in natural light of the comb with the crest pushed back for confirmation.

Pullets have very flat, non existent combs until they get to laying age, which in some cases can be over a year of age, but most start laying at around 7-8 months of age.
One of my almost 4 month old cockerels just started crowing and he has hardly any comb, it will come in time. When the comb is already raised and has started to develop color this early, then 99% sure you have a cockerel.
