My
duck is still having this problem. It didn't happen for 2 weeks after I made that post, now it has been happening everyday for the past four days. It starts whenever she gets in the pool. And it's happening without her being bit in the head... It is actually happening right now. She's sitting in the shade resting right now.

I found this thread and the person who posted it named off a few symptoms that their duck was having and it sounds like what my duck is doing: https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=103532

I
felt her bottom and it felt very soft. Could she be eggbound? Also, egg production has really slowed, and I have noticed some soft shell eggs, and some really oddly shaped soft shell eggs... If she is eggbound, what can I give her or should we hurry up and take her to the vet?

Thanks for your time.

I'm sorry no one has responded to your post, did you try any vitamins to see if they could help at all? in case of Vitamin diff. It does sound alot like wry neck or star gazing but not sure on when that usually comes about hopefully someone with more experience with this will be on to help you. and

Yes, I have them on some Durvet vitamins and electrolytes that I put in a bowl of water for them. I found an avian vet that is closer by and we have an appointment set for Monday. Will update when we get back from the vet.
