Here is the original thread on my Black Jersey Giant Pullet, 'Boop'.

So Boop is doing really well! The deworming meds seem to have worked and she only does it a little along with coughing Im figuring is related to a resp infection stemming from it.
She started gaping quite a bit again later and it took only 1 more dose.

Thank you gals for all your help and advice and pictures!!!! Boop is doing great and gaining weight!

I've seen people suspect gapeworms when it is actually capillary worms causing the problem. There a 7 species of capillaria that affect chickens. Capillaria annulata and Capillaria contorta can migrate to the esophagus/crop and cause inflammation and paralysis in those areas. Birds will "gape" and exhibit symptoms similar to respiratory disease. I'm glad your bird is recovering.
