Took little rooster to vet yesterday. I don't think she knew alot about chickens, but she did take x-rays, and checked him out really well. His right foot would not close over her finger, and the left one did a little, but nothing showed up anywhere else. She prescribed antibiotics and steroids for him. Does anyone know where I can find out what symtoms of too much calcium are or know what they are? Just a thought. He is a little barred cochin we think and he only weighed 1'9oz. But he now is worth is weight in gold after the vet visit.
