Update on my mom

I just got off the phone with my mom. They got the results last night at 10:30!

She has the same cancer that she had in her uteris a few years ago. They don't know why it traveled to her lungs.

At least it's not lung cancer!!

They think that they can take care of it with just radiation but she might need chemo also. They are sending everything to the radioligist that took care of her last time and have him check everything out. She has four good drs. working together on this now.

Best wishes to you and your mom. So many cancers are treatable now and most people do well with treatment. We have been through cancer with several family members and all of them are OK and cancer free now.

I am a cancer survivor and I can tell you "THERE IS LIFE AFTER CANCER"!!!! They are looking at cancer as a chronic illness now. I will be praying for her!! Miracles happen everyday! Suz

Cancer has been running in my family for years, mainly just three people. They just keep getting it over and over. Two are in remission right now.
