Just have to vent, love my coop and can't wait to share it with you when iam all done

Iam adding, fret woodwork, rooster art on the shutters, mounted solar lights, hand painted sign, more detail trim work, weathervane, drapes, vinyl flooring, picket fence around the little detachable run, and painting my booty off...iam sure I will think of more ...

I have learned one thing, okay several things...always go larger, I already know I should have had a larger coop, never ever order cedar siding if your going to paint..that's tuff to paint,

And no way will I be painting the inside, that was my goal, but with cedar siding on the majority of the inside...heck no...

Can't wait to share it with You all, but for now...wanted to vent about all the work ahead of me still..LOL

Ms.bear, Erin and her husband made it for me... It's soo sooo cute.. Cream de la coop

Update- added photos of how its coming along/and yes- PAINTED THE INSIDE- AYAYAAAAAAAAAAA

Cedar needs to be sealed if you plan on painting it. Zinser, Kilz or other oil/shelac based sealers work well. Cedar is best stained or left raw so it turns gray. Without sealing it, I wouldn't suggest white as a paint color. Can't wait to see your coop!
