Upgrowing 5th toe on pekin hen

My pekin hen has a 5th tie which is growing upwards is this normal and if not what should I do?

Are you sure it's a hen. If you are not sure and that she/he may be a cockerel that "5th toe" might be a spur growing. If you are sure it is a hen i'm not sure what it may be.

She’s over a year old and laying so I’m pretty sure she is a hen

Do you have a picture of her? Hens do grow spurs too, so it could just be a spur coming through. That or she may not be pure breed.

There is a chance she is not purebred as I got her from my local poultry seller who dosnt breed them themselves
