Greetings all!
Love this website! There is such an abundance of info here, especially the hoop house coops, very interesting design.
Any who,
the wife and I were bent on starting chickens this last spring, but it just didn't come together, well, low and behold, a friend of hers offered us a boat load of guinea hen keets, so we jumped on it.
While they're not exactly Heritage strain chickens, but they were free, and got us started, now I'm hooked, the Guineas are straight up cool and interesting birds, and I love their personalities, I just really want to expand into chickens.
What would be a recommendation? RR's?
My Criteria are fairly simple, i think, as I'm only interested in old worlds birds, Heritage strains primarily, eggs mostly, possibly table.
Space is no problem.
Anyone have any suggestions?
