I rent a room in an neighborhood of big-ish houses and small lots, so I may stick with reading and dreaming about Miniature Golden Cascades and Mini Geese. But in my dreams, there's a flock of egg-laying ducks and guard geese grazing happily in a pen bigger than my landlady's yard.

I am so sorry! Not to rub your nose in it, but nothing better than living out in the middle of no where with not a neighbor in sight! I couldn't live any other way.

BUT....dreaming about it is better than nothing at all! And you know, you might be able to sneak a house goose or chicken into the house. Lots of people have house chickens, turkeys, quail and others that have the run of the house. They wear a diaper of course. LOL But you can make them a nesting box and let them fill your home with poultry feathers!

Good luck in all your adventures in life and I do hope someday you can enjoy being able to keep poultry. [IMG]

Here's to hoping your situation will change someday so that you can fulfill your dreams. Until then, you can live vicariously through those of us here on BYC who keep flocks!
