So I have a question regarding whether or not I need a urban livestock plan for the 8 chickens I have, no roosters. I read the city code and it says within city limits you can only have 3 chickens, no roosters. Luckily, I live in an urban growth area aka an unincorporated part of Clark county so I am exempt from this limit.
I am just hoping someone can give me clarity if I need to submit a plan to the county or not. I had the paperwork filled out and have yet to submit. After I read on further, it appeared that I didn’t need to submit it because the chickens are free range but in a 2,000 sq foot enclosed chicken run area. It says if the chickens are cooped up (what I interpret as confined to a coop or the run itself) Any help from anyone else that has a flock in unincorporated Clark County WA
