URGENT! 4 month old hen - lethargic/not eating/droopy wings/falls over

The only two things that come to my mind with blood in the stool is cocci or worms. I would give her vitamin water by mouth. She can go without food, but needs to be kept hydrated.

I would like to know what GSE and MMS is. Also what kind of vitamin water? What type of drugs should one have on hand for emergencies? I'm new to all of this and never really thought to have stuff on hand but will stock up now.

GSE is grapefruit seed extract. Google to find the best price. Nutribiotic is the brand I use.

"NutriBiotic Maximum GSE

(Grapefruit Seed Extract) Liquid Concentrate is a natural quaternary compound synthesized from the seed and pulp of organically grown grapefruit.

The grapefruit bioflavonoid (polyphenolics) are converted into an extremely potent compound that has been proven highly effective in numerous applications. Maximum GSE is used by healthcare professionals worldwide as nutritional support for individuals with an array of health concerns.

It contains high levels of vitamin C and E, and bioflavonoids. These important substances have an antioxidant action and can neutralize free radicals that damage cells and cause a number of illnesses.

Grapefruit seed extract is being used successfully in humans and animals alike. It naturally helps to detoxify, enhance and support the immune system. After 35 years in use by naturopathic physicians, clinics and the general public grapefruit seed extract has been proven to be a safe and effective!"

MMS is a water purifier that basically works in our bodies like it does in water (most of us are 60% water anyway). It can be purchased at Amazon for around $20 and that can last a year, depending on how often you are using it.

You can find more info on my blog though but if you don't have time to check it out, hopefully this info will help.

Just wanted to let everyone know that Willow passed away this morning...

I'm wondering if it's something she had when she was little (she was sick, that's how we got her) and it was just dormant until now. Thank you for trying to help. Maybe I'll have a chick one day again and be back. At this moment, I'm just not sure though...
