I want to get very serious and competitive. I was going to purchase birds from Sandhill Preservation but their March hatches are cancelled. I NEED to order my birds no later than March 14th for them to be show ready. I need a breeder or hatchery that ships SHOW QUALITY birds.

The Breeds I am interested in are:

    BANTAMS:
    Brahma Bantams
    Wyandotte Bantams
    Dutch Bantams
    Bearded d'Uccles
    Bearded d'Anvers
    Bantam Polish
    Bantam Seabright
    Bantam Hamburg

    Standard:
    Black or Brown Leghorns
    Polish
    Crevecouers
    La Fleche
    Barred Holland
    Hamburg
    Speckled Sussex

I need show quality birds, not just layers. Please help me! Thank you all so much

Google hatcheries and get their phone numbers. Call them and ask if any of their chickens are show quality. I'd think most hatcheries would have a few breeds that are show quality.[IMG]

You could try Stromberg's. They have SQ potential chicks in many of the breeds you are interested in. You will have to call to see what their availability is. There is a 10 chick limit.

I have never ordered from them so I cannot say how good or bad their exhibition potential chicks are.

You can try posting in the Heritage thread over in Breeds. Maybe some of the breeders there can help direct you, I'm not familiar with anyone who has what you are looking for.
