Are these chickens? They seemed kind of hungry when I found them abandoned in a parking lot. They're obviously pets since they ran right up to be and I gave them some rice and oatmeal and they gobbled it up. What should I feed them? PS I live in an area where there are no wild chickens. 14966335294151657728954.jpg 14966335294151657728954.jpg

They look like chicks. Some starter grain if ur gonna keep them. Any local feed store should have it.

I think they're chickens and yes starter is good. But great job with the rice and oatmeal! That'll work. :thumbsup

It is sad when people just toss animals out! You are a great person with a big heart for taking them in!!

I'm never lucky enough to find random parking lot chicks :(

Do you have a way to keep them nice and warm? Chicks that age need access to warmth, food and clean fresh water at all times :) if you use a heat lamp for warmth, make sure they can get away from it in case they get to warm- like only having it over one side of the enclosure. Thanks for takin the little babies in! Poor things. You're their hero!
