In the Brooder
Our favorite baby chicken is crowing. He is a little guy, and has been fine with all normal size hens. One his age, the rest three years old. I thought his cute personality was because he’s the first and only Bantam I’ve owned. All black with cute fuzzy feet. He is the first to get the bugs, and navigates his way like he’s the same age and size of the rest of the hens.
We can’t keep Roosters. I may be biased but I think he’s especially adorable and his personality brings him up a notch.
I have separated him from the rest of the flock for three days now.
