I went to my mom's in TN for Easter and enjoyed her flock. I didn't appreciate them as much until I got my own and learned about the different breeds.

I don't know what she is except she's some sort of fuzzy legged bantam. I loved her!

I do know that this girl is an EE. I educated Mom. She even lays pretty blue eggs.

This boy was my favorite of the flock. He's big and gentle and the most tame. He cannot crow because he was attacked by dogs last year. If I could safely ship him to Tacoma I would gladly take him!! He has nice feathery feet.

    Everyone together.

She visited TSC before I came in. She understands chicken math!

Beautiful flock. I am guessing the first bird is some sort of cochin. I am proably wrong though.[IMG]

Thanks for the comments [IMG]. The first one is probably a little cochin, yes. She's a bold one! She let's you pet her. Her feathers are so soft and fluffy [IMG]

Very nice. Nice to have a shared hobby. My family looks at me like I'm strange, which I am, I guess. My dad says he doesn't want to eat eggs from chickens that he knows! Lol. Glad you had a great trip home!
