What should I vaccinate my chicks from? I dont want them getting avian influenza or mg.. what all should I vaccinate them from to insure a very healthy flock? Right now we are getting my chickens tested for mg as we were told by a buyer that our chickens may have it as it was brought into her home. So we are getting our tested. Back to my question thou b, what all should I vaccinate my chicks from?

Vaccination techniques depend on the actual vaccine. For example mareks vaccine goes just under the skin on the back of the chicks neck. I personally only vaccinate for Mareks. Do research on the vaccines before you use them because certain vaccines (not mareks) can be a live bit of the virus itself making the bird a carrier and able to spread the virus to unvaccinated birds.so make sure and do research on each vaccine before you give it.
