Well, I brought home my new pyreneese pup yesterday and he seems like he will be a great dog. He will be looking over chickens, guineas, turkeys, ducks and my cats. The cyotes have been trying to snack on all of them. I hope I can keep everything safe until this little guy gets big. His dad should have had a saddle on his back taking kids for rides. He was one of the biggest I have ever seen. I introduced him to the flock this morning and this afternoon. He didn't really look at the birds but they sure noticed him. They went nuts! I think I will have to work on the birds more than him. The pup is 6 weeks and we still need to come up with a name. Maybe you guys could throw in suggestions! Here is a couple of pics of the guy.

I'm sure you're way too young to remember a TV series called The Monroes. They had a Great Pyr named Snow.

Would you like the other thread closed now that you have your pup and have started a new one?

    I like Polar. [IMG]

If I breed my Great Pry. Koda and if I can convince my father to keep one of the puppies I'm going to either name it Snowball or Kodiak. [IMG]
