Where do you get your seeds?
I like pinetree garden seeds. www.superseeds.com
I have a table full of seed catalogs. it's the only part of this time of the year that I really enjoy. Hot tea, a couch, a wood stove, and a table full of seed catalogs.
I like Territorial Seed Co. http://www.territorialseed.com/
Am trying to find more resources for heirloom seeds though, so I'll stay tuned to this thread to see where other folks go.
oh! I like them too! Try SeedSavers for heirloom seeds. They're great too!
Thanks 3goodeggs, I just signed up for both of them! Great thread SportTees. Thanks for starting it!
I signed up for pinetree too I already get the terrial- last year I got bombarded with seed catalogs so thanks for any input on the good ones.
Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds - http://rareseeds.com - has the best catalog that I've seen. It's a work of art in itself! Haven't ordered from them as I just got the catalog about a week ago.
From 3 places:
1...seeds I saved from previous years
2....local feed store
The link didn't highlight, but you should be able to follow by typing in eburgess
I've been drooling over my seed catalogs for about 2 weeks now <<sigh>>....
Gurney's has great trees and shrubs for low cost. They are small but grow really quick.
I love my Little Big Tree--apple trees that only grow about 6ft tall you get a half bushel of full size apples in a couple of years.
Territorial Seed, Johnny's, Park Seed. I also do a lot of trading with people.
Quote:Oh they don't sell seeds, but I love, love, love Raintree Nursery for trees and edibles! http://www.raintreenursery.com/
