lol It IS just her!! shes the worst!! heaven help us if she goes broody!! She lays nice big eggs...but you don't dare try to get them until she leaves and shes done SCREAMING the egg song. She also gets ontop of the washer and dryer and will jump in the feed bin, gets onto cars.

Its those types of behaviors that make you think, maybe chickens and dinosaurs AREN'T that far apart! Lol loved it!

I agree 100% , she will fluff out those hackles and scream and its like "whoa giant frilled lizard of death! " Anyone else got a veliciraptor chicken picture or video to share?

I have one that sounds like that, but she is not nearly that mean! She usually sounds like that when I am holding her, and after a couple of minutes, she will just lay her head on my shoulder and make that kind of purry sound.

yea, I fell on my butt when she attacked that whats i cried out lol. Shes only mean in the nest box, shes the boss of all the RIR but not high on the pecking order. At least I am not the only one with a dinsour in the coop!
