Hello ... First time in a long time to post on BYC and tomorrow is the day for 25 chicks to be delivered!!!
I've gotten the brooder area set up in coop with two heating pads (making one big MHP)
I'm starting the chicks on vertical nipples for water and have a few questions...
1. Are 4 nipples enough for 25 chicks... I will add another 4-6 nipples when/as they grow ...
2. What height should the nipples be for day old chicks ... Please give a recommendation on height and not "just above their heads " ... Etc...
