Very basic question

A place I am buying eggs from says when they are settling I should leave them pointy end down. I always thought it was pointy end up? If I have been doing this wrong all along, I want to know!

Thoughts on this? I would really appreciate it.

Yep! Pointy end down, fat end up. The fat end is where the air cell is, so that's the end you want up.

I thought it was point down. The air sack should be up, which is in the wider end. But the last time I hatched eggs was in kindergarten about 25 years ago.

That makes sense. I think being sick has marinated my brain.Sigh. Thinking back to last fall when I last incubated, yes, my fogged up mind THINKS I probably put them pointy end down. I must be getting Alzheimers.
