Very first try at incubating eggs.....

Success! My first egg pipped today so now patiently waiting for progress. I hear the little one chirping...now I'm not going to be able to sleep until it's out! I hatched my first egg with a broody hen on 7/28 I thought after my experience with that it wouldnt be so stressful...wrong! This is exciting and stressful!!!

Today is day 21, when I put it on lock down the side that I wrote the date on was face up. I come home today and it's on it's side with the pip in it. So who knows when it happened. With my broody hatch it was 9 hours from start to finish. This is worse than being pregnate! My husband thinks I'm nuts but it is!

Still trying to come out....pip is turning into a zip so hopefully it moves fast today. It's killing me, I cant wait to see this little one!
