Chewi seems to have developed scissor beak (albeit very slightly). She has been doing so well i only noticed because i was taking their two week pictures! I got her for eggs, not breeding-so as long as shes fat and happy i really dont mind! Will it be a progressively worse deformity? Can it be corrected since its very early and so slight? She eats and drinks just fine (shes actually pretty high in the pecking order!)

If i teach her how to scoop food, she should be okay if it gets worse though? (As long as she eats, shes still a fertilizer machine/egg maker)

If it's minor than she can learn to eat with it. She's probably on a mash right now. As long as she can scoop it up she will eat and live. If it gets worse, she might do better with crumbles, pellets, wet mash or keep the mash dry. My chick ate better when she could stand in a deep straight sided bowl. Just have to adapt as her needs change.
