Very new to chickens

Hello everyone I'm very new to chickens so if this question is dumb I apologize. I bought two black sex links and one just doesn't quite look like the other. Any thoughts on what she may be? She is the all black one in question.

I'm seeing 2 barred rocks and 1 black sex link--the all black one.

I got them from a local hardware store. I just wasn't sure as my other black sex link has the reddish ticking like all the pictures I've pulled up have as well. I just didn't know if they usually were solid black.

I agree with @KikisGirls ^^ the black one looks like a sex link she should get little colors of brown on her chest as she gets older.

I see your confusion. I'm not sure what the 2nd on is. It could be a mix with a sex link. I raised 4 B. Sex links and they were all solid black when they were chicks. They get a green/blue hue to them wen they are adults and have the brown feathers on their chest.

Stores have been known to mislabel chicks.

Oh for sure. That's why I'm asking because one is not like the other.

They are still quite young..you may want to wait a few more weeks til their feathers grow in more.

BSL cockerels look like Barred Rocks.
