Very weird chicken dream

Well, I don't know about anybody else but ever since I got my new chicks a month ago I have dreamed about them constantly. I know it's just because this is new and my brain is trying to work out everything that I need to do to take care of them and to absorb so much new information (thanks to BYC!). But--
Last night I had the WEIRDEST dream.

I have one chick that I've been keeping an eye on b/c it seems to not be doing as well as the others. It's a little smaller, its eyes aren't as bright and clear as the others and it just seems like its moving around a little slow. I did lose one chick at 3 days old and this chick's behavior reminds me a lot of what that little chick did before it finally died. So, obviously I have this chick on the brain and I am concerned about it. Well, in my dream I was watching this chick as it interacted with all of the other chicks and suddenly it starts having foam ooze out of it everywhere. Kind of like when you add vinegar to baking soda, you know? And then, the foam just consumes it and eats it up and all that is left is a bubbly puddle of goo on the ground. And that was it. End of chick.

GROSS!

Anybody else have weird chick dreams?

my mom (gonzo&hispeeps) dreams about the chickens too xD haha and she has a thread call Chicken Addicts or something and there you will meet many people that dream about their chickys lol

I suggest your mind is repelling the chick that is failing, and so is taking it to it's obvious end.

Well, that and too much caffeine after 3 pm.

wow, that is odd! dreams are interesting experiences. i LOVE dreams, especially the crazy ones. the tail end of my dream had one of my chickens in it.

i was arguing with a dream character whom i dream about often. he is completely made up, only ever met him in dreams. anyhow, we were having the most arguous (spelling?) conversation about how one should go about skinning a moose. my side was start at the belly, which i always do, and his was to start at the head (the wrong way), when i heard a "peee, peep. peep?peep?pep?peep?" and we were like "what?" we paused for a moment.

then he says "what's a chicken doing here?" and there is Haiyup, peeping away and pecking around. the next thing i knew i was awake, and my boyfriend had brought my pet chicken into my room and she was peeping away (she isn't fond of him) he threw her on me and said "GO WAKE MOMMY UP!"

Haiyup is about 3 months old. i was quite happy to see her first thing in the morning.

Nick, my boyfriend, seems to like bringing animals to me when i sleep in. first it was the cat "WAKE NEEVERS UP!" and then batman, a quail "BEAT HER UP, SHE SLEEPS TOO MUCH!" and then a fish in a fishbowl "captain bib says wake up"
