Very weird egg

    I could not find a good forum for this, so here goes. A friend asked me what was up with this egg. This is a grocery store egg, so chick isn't an option. Any ideas? [​IMG]

    Chalazae probably. That's a big example of it, but I wouldn't have a guess as to what else it could be...

    Yeah, I am thinking chalazae also .. quite an impressive one though.

    Whoa...really strange!!

    Hopefully it's just 'membrane gone really awry'.

    Maybe over twisted membrane(which is how the chalazae is formed) that broke free?
