from May 20 2009. I think most people know, right? that Tom Vilsack and the USDA want to make NAIS mandatory. And that it would affect not only people who raise chickens to sell but people who raise chickens, even if they're in your backyard and it's YOU that eat the eggs. Right now NAIS is mandatory but they are planning to try to make people register their premises and chip all their poultry. I hope you will spread the word. I mysefl have chickens, ducks, geese, and guineas and am anti-NAIS.

Yep, I spread the word when I can only problem is that a lot of people just don't seem to care

Also have you ever read "Everything I want to do is Illegal" ? It has a whole chapter on NAIS.
