All the videos that I've seen, the 2 embryo's are close together. Mine is on day 10 and they are at opposite ends of the egg. Is that normal? Also, the video doesn't show much of an air cell, but it's a normal size. It's just the angle I guess.

Are you expecting to hatch 2 healthy chicks out of a single egg?

I know it's a long shot, but yes, I'm gonna do my best.

Meaning no offense. To each his own. My advice is to fry double yolkers in bacon grease or poach them.

Mammals are built for multiple births by expanding the abdomen and delivering more nutrients through the umbilical.
Egg layers can't do that. Multiple births out of an egg shell that can't expand and can't call on more nutrients are limited to the space and food that's in there. If in the rare case one hatches or even rarer, two hatch, they'll be smaller and less healthy. I'm just saying, there are plenty of fertile eggs without starting with something with a very low opportunity for success and to create a less than perfect chick.

I don't blame you for trying nor if you take this with a grain of salt.
It's been done, the results are in. IMHO, there's no reason for more research just to stress embryos.

I don't but i have read about it. It can be done but you will have to assist with the hatch.[IMG]
