  2. they are sooooo pretty! i just love their color. Do they give the silkies a hard time alot? do you keep them in the same coop together? I really want to get a few, but i am worried that my RSL's will beat them up.

    [​IMG] When food is involved the dottes chase everyone off. They are so piggy.
    They all share the same coop and get along ok. The Silkies pretty much stay in their group, the 4 mixed kids stay in their group, and the dottes stay in their group. Lester makes sure that neither groups get to rough and that everyone stays in line.

    I have more bantams currently in the brooder and am hoping they are all girls so they can hopefully become part of the Silkies group.

    My Dotte girls know they can throw their weight around with the Silkies. The kids are 8 weeks and growing fast. Pretty soon they will be trying to butt into the higher pecking order of the Wyandottes.
