Someone somewhere said something about putting vinigar in the chickens water. What for?
yes...ACV...Apple Cider Vinegar...have to get the UNpasturized kind. I use the BRAGG brand..sometimes the bottle will say "with the mother", or" Raw-unfiltered". If your regular grocery store doesn't have it, most natural food stores do.
It's a good immune booster, great for clearing phlem (especially when you have a cold), and many other things.
It's good for you too!
Braggs website has lots of good info (granted it's human centered).
I actually take 1 to 2 tbs. of braggs ACV daily it helps with tons of stuff. How much should I put in there water? And should I do it daily?
My water pan holds about 1/2 a gallon; I put 1/2 a Tablespoon in there, and do it every day. After I put it in, Melody likes to drink water out of the spoon!
Oh yeah, a teaspoon or so in a little bit of water does wonders for heartburn/indigestion too!
That's actually what I use it for.
