He is handsome.

I have 2 that have been living in the yard for years . One comes out about 9:00PM every night and he sleeps on the front porch and the other frog lives by the gate in the chicken yard. I always know what time I will see them and exactly where they will be.

I have to say, as far as TOADS go, that one is pretty good lookin'! The toads around here...well, they leave a lot to be desired.

Around here we just get Banana Slugs.

Imp- and you don't want to know the effects of licking those.

that's one healthy lookin' toad! I just adore them, haven't seen any around here in some time due to the drought.

And I am suprised I didn't think of the Frog Prince when I saw him!!

I have a friend whose French Bulldog is "addicted" to that toxin, he searchs out the toads, then for hours is acting all weird! He also finds toxic mushrooms and gets all weird with them too. She is afraid one day he will overdose!!

My husband wonders who was the first person to pick up a toad, say ...
"I think I will lick this thing and see if I get high!"

Nice pics. He's a looker. We grew up here playing with them, and other desert creatures we shouldn't have, lol. Doorways seem to be one of their favorite places to hang out.
