    Please help.

Have been holding out hope that this was Harriet and not Harry. (had so many roosters!)

They are all 22 weeks old.

Am thinking now that I see saddle feathers....stringy ones. This is the last time I am asking. There are no rooster behaviors. Very Sweet. Harms none. (if it is Harry I have serious problems...STILL having to cull two BR's because I am keeping this one no matter what)

Ah, RATS......was hoping someone would come along and say Harriet that same way. But, I just started noticing the skinny pointy feathers right behind his tail the last couple of weeks....before that I never saw them but he is so puffy that might be why. Dern.
That was the reason I went out and took the pictures this morning and then cropped them to see closer. And just this week his actual tail feathers started standing up more....before they were more rounded.

Am off to seriously rethink my coop and run design....I have to keep Harry and I want peace in the flock.

    now it is:

    1 BO
    2 BR's
    1 Harry

    11 hens.....

it is better than before when it was 11 hens and 18 roosters. What luck....all I wanted was some eggs!

(all four of the guys are really well behaved as of now.....hopefully the girls will survive until I can get this worked out)

AND.....can you put two roosters off in a pen by themselves if they grew up together and them not beat each other up? Because that was what happened with my RIR's. I have a chicken tractor I can put the BR's in until they are rehomed if I need to.

Shucks ya'll.....sure wanted him to be a girl. Well, now he needs a couple of girlfriends. Am going to divide up my run, put in a little tykes house and give ole' Harry a harem. Sweetest chicken ever.
