Pretty bird. They're cool as long as they don't roost on your roof... They run back and forth all night hissing at each other and sound like a herd of elephants up there...

The other day I thought I was in a Alfred Hitchcock movie. Hundreds were circling and slowing moving away. I only had my cell camera.

I've always loved vultures! So many people don't like them, calling them ugly and disgusting. I always point out to them how gross the earth would be if we didn't have vultures to clean up the carrion.

I've always loved vultures! So many people don't like them, calling them ugly and disgusting. I always point out to them how gross the earth would be if we didn't have vultures to clean up the carrion.

Not to mention that their droppings are either sterile or darn near so (cant remember if they are 100% or not), so, all of the nasty bacteria growing on the roadkill that goes IN the bird doesn't come back out.
