Easter Eggers. Sold as either Ameraucanas or Araucanas by hatcheries. Called Easter Eggers because of the pink, green or possibly light blue eggs that they lay.

There are True Ameracaunas and True Araucanas but you need to get them from someone/a breeder who specializes in these breeds. If you buy either one of the breeds from a large hatchery you will end up with the EE's. Our EE's are McMurray hatchery Araucanas.

You can do a search on the True breeds and find alot of helpful information. I'm pretty much clueless when it comes down to breed genetics.

Sometimes EE's are purebred ameracaunas, but are of an unrecognized, or mixed, color. Or a bird that is mixed with ameraucana or araucana can also be called an EE. I have 2 bantam EE hens, neither of which lay colored eggs. I guess if you were to try and call it a color, they would be pink eggers.

    Sorry.
I'm not set up to ship eggs and you are on the other of Ky. I bought my "Ameraucanas" from Mt Healthy but they are not show standard. So, they're called Easter Eggers.

I'm sure you can find some on craigslist or kijiji.
