want a duckling but not sure

I want to get baby ducklings possibly. The problem is that i only have 2 yrs left of highschool then i'll go to a college about an hour away. If I get more than one duck will they be fine until I visit on the weekends or would it be a bad idea all together?

Depends, and yes i would get more than one, ducks are flock animals and do best with company. Can your parents take care of them(and will they?) do you have proper accommodations for them to live?

My ducks stole my heart before I even opened the shipping box. It is not easy for me to leave them, though I do a few times a year, and there have been caregivers who do a wonderful job. But most of them have moved on.

Tough decision.

They will be attached to you, too, most likely.
