Did you know that BYC has a sister? There are actually 3, but the one I'm talking about is Backyard Herds (BYH). Backyard Herds is set up much like BYC and we're adding more stuff all the time.

BYH has just added an online show (like the Online Poultry Show) to allow members to show off their livestock and guardian animals!

BYH, has decided to do a calendar featuring livestock and herd guardians.

New! Livestock Housing Contest ...similar to the coop contest found here.

Greatest Meat Recipe Contest - deadline 12/31 - Let's see those recipes!

If you haven't checked Backyard Herds out yet, I'd encourage you to check it out. Or if you've checked it out before and decided to come back to BYC's Other Livestock for some reason - I highly encourage you to give us another look. [IMG]

Looking forward to seeing you on the sister site - BYH!

It's the same as on this forum. I wanted to be recognizable in case somebody wanted to find me.

I think that is the only one left that I have not joined... no herd. [IMG]
When I get a goat or something ruminate-ish I will join for sure!
Congrats on the new moderator assignment.
I hope it goes easily for you.

We have several great members who joined because they love those herd animals and don't have any. A few of them have progressed to getting their herd started.

    And Thank you [IMG]

    Up at the barn
I do visit there occasionally, but there is never the activity there that there is here, so I come back here.
