Anyone with 300 to 600 laying hens contact Frances or Manuel . This is in Lodi, Ca. Someone called me to see if I still had that many forsale. They asked me to post for them when I said no.

    Id say hardcore.
How about contacting a local "egg factory" . When i was a teen we once bought white layers from there. They were dirt cheap and after 4 or so weeks they figured out what nests are for. Before that they dropped them were they stood. They were only 18 month old so there was plenty of life left in them.

These are probably birds for an egg production busines. I have a friend who has 700 birds and it's amazing how many eggs they get. I do imagine it will be difficult to find that many adult birds though. They may be better off ordering from a hatchery.
