WANTED: Dewlap Toulouse Info

Hi, could someone please tell me what time of the year a Dewlap Toulouse goose lays and how old it has to be, any other info would be great aswell

They lay in spring to early summer. They take longer to mature, but you can expect some eggs from yearlings. Fertility may not be good the first laying season.

Don't let them get too fat before mating season as it can affect fertility according to Dave Holderread in The Book of Geese. Chris Ashton writes in Domestic Geese that water 18" deep helps with mating for these big birds. Dave's book is a good one to have on all aspects of raising geese.
