Wanted - Golden laced Polish chicks - PA

Well, I just placed my order with MM and was really bummed that they didn't have any golden laced polish chicks available at the time I wanted my order shipped.

So, I figure, it is a long shot, but I would post here to see if anyone local to the Morgantown, PA (or surrounding) area would have some golden laced polish HENS available in April?

I am only looking for 2 or 3, so I guess shipping is out of the question, hence wanting someone local.

Day old chicks from MM arriving week of 4/14, so if the chick was in that same age range and could be tossed into the brooder with the others, it would be a bonus (I know, asking a lot here)

I am close to you (Bethel) and am going to be ordering from Ideal for April. My order will be for 14 chicks of 5 different breeds and my brooder is huge...plenty of room till you're ready for them. Just let me know, I was planning on ordering the end of this week for delivery on April 2nd.

kbarrett - I just checked ideal's web site. Looks like they are offering the golden polish as straight run only

I'm looking for only hens...

I've got 12 coming from MM, plus any crested hens from my sister's "ornamental egg layer" assortment. Then if I find 2 or 3 golden...

I've only got an 8x8 hen house. Maybe I should just stop now. It just seems so easy to pick up "just one more"!

Bummer, I had just quickly went over to Ideal's site..didn't even notice they were st. run. Oh well, if you see something else you want on Ideal's site let me know.
