Hi. I am looking to buy up to 40 bantam roosters. I am located in the Charleston, SC area but I would be willing to do some driving to get them if I have to. I am not looking for show birds. Thanks Very Much. Happy New Year.

here in my part of south carolina, only the hispanic folks want a lot of roosters just for making soup.. as i cull out large breed roosters to a couple folks for just that. i know due to asking these folks --why all the rooster and no hens...

I would be iffy to sell/give that many roosters to one person. There are several(& often cruel) reasons why someone would want that many birds, and since this was there first post, that really makes me iffy.

(And no, I'm not talking bout eating them or using them in soups)

    Yea, that is very interesting....
    why bantams??
If I would want to have some chicken meat I would go with full sized or bigger roosters!
    LOL!
