Candied yams. Brown sugar and butter. Nothing else, especially no marshmallows.

I grew up on candied yams or sweet potatoes. The worst sweet potatoes I ever tasted were those from a coworker. She bragged about how good her sweet potatoes were. They were mashed and had marshmallows in them. Disgusting.

No marshmellows here. I love sweet potatoes all year long!!

Yams, oven baked in the skins. Butter, salt and pepper. That's it. delicious.

I have done a microwave version using peeled yams or sweet potatoes, Sucralose and butter.

Ok gotcha. One other if you will just cause. Oyster dressing/stuffing yay or nay? I love it but it has to be with fresh or at least freshest I can find. No canned oysters lol

I am finding it easy to assume that you would not even taste Sour Cream Raisin pie. I have a raisin sauce recipe that I like on cooked ham.
