Wanted to Buy: Poultry Brooder

    I am in need of a good brooder in working order. I have been working long hours and can't be there with the chicks tending them like I usually do.
    Reasonable price please, if it needs to be shipped that's OK, I am in central Missouri.

    I dont kno if you are pretty good at building things but if you are they fairly simple to make. Go to any lumber store get a couple 2x4's for frame and a cheap sheet CDX plywood. Get a couple feet of hardware cloth 1/4 inch x 1/4 inch. Build a box a length you want and about 14 inches deep. make a lid and in the lid cut out a square hole and put hardware cloth over hole. At walmart get a heat lamp and 100 watt bulb and place heat lamp on wire. I have 12 of these all 14 feet long and hatch around 250 chicks a week with no problems
