Wanted - young turkeys and weaned hair-type sheep

Hi lu king.

you have 2 different WTB, so you will likely get better response by posting the turkey one in the Other Poultry BST and the sheep in this one.Don't forget to add your location int he title!

Good luck in your search.

Look into the KATAHDIN breed of sheep. We have been raising these for over 6 years. They are a hair sheep that require no shearing. Easy to maintain, easy on fences. They are heat tolerant, too. Good breeders, usually having multiples after first birthing.

Thank you both for your responses.

I'll check into the Katahdin Sheep. I never heard of them before, but sounds like the type of sheep I want.

You are welcome. The Katahdins are being used by many areas to control brush along easements. My sister first brought this breed to my attention through articles in the Smithsonian and National Geographic magazines.
There are a lot of people raising these.
If you need more info, feel free to contact me.
