was it the chabos or the cochin bantams?

i got two small white eggs today but have no idea who laid them!! there is both chabos and bantam cochins in that pen. does anyone know what a chabo eggs looks like and what a cochin egg looks like?

Congratulations on the eggs. I have no idea about which chicken laid what unfortunately. But I bet someone here on BYC does.

theres 2 cochin roo's, 3 chabo roos, 3 chabo pullets, 2 cochin pullets and 1 silkie mix pullet in that pen......could be any of the ladies

suppose id better get round to splitting up the groups, didnt think they'd start laying until the spring!

I think cochins lay brown eggs. I'm going thru the same thing right now...I have a mystery brown egg and I think it's my bantam cochin, but she's only 17 weeks old...but her comb is red.
